The Cards are Portals

Star-shaped spice with a dark square in the center.

Each Grow card is more than just an image—it’s an invitation.

Every card corresponds to a page in the guidebook, guiding you through a daily ritual of curiosity, practice, and reflection. You can pull a single card to set the tone for your day, or explore multiple cards in a spread to reveal layered meanings and unexpected connections.

The artwork on each card was lovingly hand-painted by Justina, with symbols designed to seed meaning and magic. From Eyes to Play, Self-Compassion to Synchronisity—each visual element was designed to spark intuition and invite deeper insight.

How it all began
A note from Justina

The idea for the Grow cards blossomed from a personal ritual that’s grounded me for years: pulling oracle cards each morning as a way to center myself, ignite creativity, and listen inward.

What started as a small act of self-care became something much deeper. Oracle cards offered more than daily inspiration—they became creative companions, mirrors for self-discovery, and tools for healing. They raised questions that helped me clarify what I truly wanted from life, and they offered quiet nudges toward growth, purpose, and peace.

As a deeply visual thinker and feeler, I’ve always connected to the imagery on the cards just as much as the words. Shapes, colors, and symbols speak to me in a language beyond logic. I began using oracle cards not only for spiritual guidance but as prompts for journaling, intention-setting, affirmations, and creative exploration. Over time, I dreamed of designing my own deck—one that reflected my world of pattern, feeling, and soul.

Unlike even a beloved book that may be read once or twice and returned to a shelf, I love that oracle cards are meant to live with you. To be shuffled, pulled, questioned, and like a friend, returned to again and again. Grow was created to be part of your daily rhythm—a guide to help you reconnect with your inner voice and your own evolving story.

But this dream wasn’t something I wanted to create alone.

Long before I ever picked up a deck, I had a living oracle in my life: my mom, Ronnie. She has always been my greatest teacher and most trusted guide. As a child, I remember watching her in the quiet of morning, reading sacred texts and letting one line or one page choose her. That was her ritual. And now, it’s become part of mine.

To create this deck together—as mother and daughter, artist and psychologist—feels like a full-circle moment rooted in love, wisdom, and legacy.

Ronnie brings to Grow more than just her brilliance and warmth. She brings over 40 years of research and hands-on experience in human development: how people grow, where we get stuck, and how we find our way forward. Her life’s work is helping others cultivate passion, purpose, and peace—and this deck is one more way to share that light.

Together, we’ve created something that lives at the intersection of personal growth, creative ritual, and soulful reflection. Grow is a vibrant toolkit for your inner garden—a daily invitation to deepen your self-awareness, nourish your creativity, and reconnect with what truly matters.

Welcome to Grow. We are so glad you’re here.

FAQs

What are oracle cards, anyway?

Oracle cards are a tool for reflection, insight, and self-discovery. You pull a card, sit with it, and see what it stirs in you. Then you consult the guidebook. Each card is like a doorway into a deeper conversation — with yourself, with life, with whatever’s calling you to grow.

How are oracle cards different from tarot cards?

Tarot follows a fixed structure (78 cards, suits, archetypes). Oracle cards are more open-ended. Grow’s 50-card deck is intuitive (we invented them!) and designed to support growth, creativity, and connection.

Can I use Grow with a group?

Yes! Grow is powerful in circles, workshops, book clubs, classrooms, or over dinner with friends. You can take turns pulling cards, share reflections, or use the prompts as starting points for deeper conversations. (They can even be used in therapy sessions.)

Justina is known for home decor. Why this? Why now?

At Jungalow, we’ve always believed that home is more than four walls — it’s a feeling. With Grow, we’re turning that lens inward. This project is about nurturing the inner home: the place inside each of us where creativity, peace, and purpose live.

Grow was born from Justina’s desire to follow her curiosity, make art from the heart, and collaborate with her mom, Dr. Ronnie Blakeney. It’s a soulful extension of what we’ve always done — creating spaces (both physical and emotional) where people can feel safe, seen, and fully themselves.

Why use cards instead of just reading a book?

Cards invite participation. They slow you down. They pull you into the present. Grow includes a guidebook, yes — but the cards create a daily ritual. They meet you right where you are, everyday, offering a nudge, a mirror, and a moment of magic.

Can I use this if I’m not “spiritual” or don’t usually do this kind of thing?

Totally. Grow is grounded, inclusive, and open-minded. No belief system required. Whether you’re a skeptic, a seeker, or somewhere in between, the cards are here to help you check in with yourself, get curious, and reconnect with yourself.

Is Grow appropriate for kids or teens?

Yes — with some guidance. While Grow wasn’t designed just for young people, many of the themes— like identity, purpose, and creativity — resonate deeply with teens and older children. Parents, educators, or caregivers can use the cards and activities to spark reflection and dialogue.

What’s a developmental psychologist, and what does that have to do with Grow?

A developmental psychologist studies how people grow through all stages of life. Dr. Ronnie Blakeney (co-creator of Grow) brings 40+ years of insight into what helps people navigate change, deepen self-awareness, and thrive through life’s transitions.

How do I use the Grow deck?

There’s no one right way. Pull a single card in the morning. Use a 3-card spread. Flip one when you’re feeling stuck, inspired, or in-between. The guidebook includes prompts and insights, but you can also let your intuition lead.

Is this self-help, spirituality, creativity—or what?

All of the above! Grow lives at the intersection of psychology, ritual, creativity, and wonder. Whether you’re healing, shifting, dreaming, or just getting through the day, Grow is a companion for your inner journey.
