QUANTITIES TO BUY

How to determine the number of wallpaper rolls you need:

    • SIZE:
      • Determine your square footage
      • Height (in feet) x width (in feet) = square footage
      • For each standard door, subtract 17 from the square footage.
      • For any other sized door, subtract the square footage of the door from the total square feet.
      • Please note that if you are wallpapering a wall with a door or window, deduct one roll for every 4 windows/door of average size.
    • REPEAT:
      • Check your label to see what the pattern repeat is on your wallpaper to find your divisor
      • Small repeat (12” or less including NO REPEAT- usually textures or small prints)
    • CALCULATIONS:
      • Divide square footage by 25
      • Large repeat (13” or more) divide the square footage by 21
      • Divide your amount by 2 to determine the number of double rolls needed.
      • After calculating, we always recommend buying one extra roll JUST IN CASE. We print in small lots and cannot guarantee that between lots there will be a 100% color match.
    • Wallpaper is commonly priced by the single roll and sold by the double roll (a double roll is also referred to as one bolt). The wallpaper is packaged in double rolls. Typically, each double roll will yield approximately 3 full strips of wallpaper in a room with 8 ft ceilings.

PREPARATION

  • The wall surface should be clean, dry, smooth, and free from mildew
  • Wall surfaces should be primed with a wallcovering primer

HANGING INSTRUCTIONS

  • These wallcoverings are inspected and tested - however, they should be checked for defects before hanging
  • Apply a lightweight pre-mixed vinyl adhesive to the wall covering, carefully following the paste manufacturer's instructions. Please ensure sufficient paste is applied to the edges of the wallcovering
  • Fold the strip slowly, glue on glue by taking both ends to the middle of the strip (booking) Let it sit for 3-5 minutes.
  • For non-matched patterns, reverse hang alternate strips. After 3 strips are hung, stand back and inspect. If the effect is not desirable, re-hang stripe #2 without reversing. 
  • IMPORTANT: Wash adhesive completely from the surface of the wall covering immediately after hanging each strip. Any adhesive left on the wallcovering can attack the surface printed inks and cause them to flake. 
  • Hanging instructions are included in every roll

NEW TO WALLPAPER?

No worries, we're happy to help you out! Our wallpaper roll is referred to as a “double roll,” which is an industry term that means our rolls have about double the amount of wallpaper than a standard roll has! So if you purchase 1 of our rolls, it will cover 60.75 sq ft.

      COVID-19 UPDATE:

        • Our fulfillment centers and carriers are open and operational at this time. You may experience temporary delays in the order processing & shipping times as a result of the additional safety measures we are employing to help protect our teams. 
        • Our carriers are maintaining normal delivery operations except where limited by government restrictions.
        • Please refer to the estimated delivery window during checkout for your order. Should anything change, we will email you and keep you in the loop as soon as we receive that information.

       ORDER PROCESS:

        • After checkout, you will receive an Order Confirmation email. We are a small business & we process orders M-F from 9am-5pm PST. We do not ship on Saturdays, Sundays, and/or nationally observed US holidays. 
        • Orders may take up to 4-5 business days to process.
        • Once shipped, you will receive a Shipment Confirmation email with a tracking number. Orders may be split across multiple shipments, and items ordered together may not be shipped on the same day.
        • We do ship within the U.S., however, we are unable to ship to PO boxes, U.S. territories, and APO/FPO/DPO addresses.
        • Unfortunately, we cannot offer express and/or overnight shipping.

       SHIPMENT ETAS:

        • Transit time can take up to 7-10 business days from the ship date, depending on your location.
        • However, you may experience temporary delays as a result of our additional COVID-19 safety measures. Our carriers are maintaining normal delivery operations except where limited by government restrictions.

        • *Please allow up to 2-3 weeks for art prints to print/ship; each art print is made to order.

      PRE-ORDERS:

        • If an item is available for preorder, an ‘Expected to Ship’ date may be shown on the product page. 

      BACKORDERS:

        • Occasionally, items will go on backorder before your order is fulfilled — if this happens, we will alert you via email.
        • In the event that your order includes a backordered item, we reserve the right to cancel and refund the item or to ship your order in multiple packages.

        TRACKING INFORMATION:

          • Please allow up to 5 business days (M-F) for order processing.
          • Once your order is processed, you will receive an email containing a tracking number and later a confirmation when your order has been sent and delivered. Tracking may take up to 48 hours to update.
          • Please note that items ordered together may not arrive together.

        INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING:

            • When can I expect to receive my shipment?
              • **Please allow a minimum of 2-3 weeks for art prints to print/ship; each art print is made to order.

          • Carriers:
            • All international orders are shipped via UPS to your destination country's postal service.
            • Carriers are selected based on the most efficient delivery.
          • Cost:
            • Shipping cost is generally determined by dimensional weight.
            • Shipping rates are lowest available; we are unable to offer any lower rates than what is listed at checkout.
            • Shipping rates include insurance unless otherwise specified.
          • Customs, Duties, and Taxes:
            • International shipments require additional duties and taxes to be paid by the customer at the time of delivery which is not covered in our shipping rates.
            • Jungalow cannot be held responsible for packages held in customs or for any customs duties or brokerage fees owed. If you decide to refuse a shipment, Jungalow will not grant refunds of any kind.
            • We have many different vendors and packages that are part of the same order may be sent separately.


          RETURNS

          RETURNS:

            • A few important things to note for returns: 
              • Shipping costs are non-refundable and return shipping fees are the responsibility of the customer.
              • All returns must be notified to us within 14 days of shipment delivery date.
              • If a return request is accepted and a refund is authorized, store credit will be issued.
              • Items must be returned in their original condition (unused, unworn, unwashed, unaltered, etc.) with the original packaging intact and any tags attached.
              • Some items in our shop are final sale. Please see the breakdown below for quick reference.

            • Return request process:
              • Please send us an email at support@jungalow.com and include your order number, which item(s) you are requesting to return, and reason(s) for return.
              • If your return request is accepted, we will provide you with a return address. 
              • You are responsible for packing the returnable items securely and using a shipping service with tracking as Jungalow® is not responsible for any items lost or damaged in transit. You must provide us with your tracking number in order for us to accept the delivery & complete the return.
              • If a return request is accepted and a refund is authorized, store credit will be issued.
              • Damages:
                • Please report any/all damages with your package/order within 48 hours of the delivery date.
                • If you see major damage to your package or any other issues with delivery, please take a picture of your package before opening it and send it to support@jungalow.com. In the email, please include your order number and pictures of the damaged product and the package in which your order arrived. This will help us make sure our shipping methods are the best we can provide.
