Caladiums are a show stopper- with vibrant foliage in a wide range of patterns: from vivid venation; to speckles; all the way to nearly solid leaves in deep shades of red, pink, green, and even purple!

  • Some plants can be toxic if ingested. As always, consult your vet before bringing a new plant into a home with pets
  • Each plant may vary from pictures shown as plants are hand selected based on season, size, health, and readiness
  • WORD OF CAUTION: According to the ASPCA, Caladiums are toxic to cats and dogs. They are also toxic to humans.

WATER

Soil must be kept moist, but not soggy, at all times. Water whenever the top of the soil feels dry. Fill pot with water until it runs out the drainage holes, allow to drain a bit, then run more through. Empty saucer or cache pot of any excess water to prevent root rot. Be careful not to splash water on the leaves when watering, which can cause spots.

SUNLIGHT

Bright to medium indirect light. Avoid direct sun, though some are full sun tolerant.

PLACEMENT

Caladiums thrive in warm climates, so do what you can to simulate that. Ensure the average temp is at least 65°F, and avoid placing them near air conditioners or heat vents. Because they do best with humidity, keep Caladiums in humid spots like the bathroom, or group them with other plants to raise humidity levels. A pebble tray may work as well- fill a saucer large enough to hold the plant(s) with pebbles, and a little bit of water. Keep the water level below the bottom of the pot to prevent root rot.

Home Botanicals is located in San Diego, California and started 9 years ago when they decided to take our personal succulent collection, and turn it into something more. Home Botanicals is a woman owned and led company since day one, and have found themselves wandering down every avenue of plants, growing their plant business from scratch. Now,  a decade later, Home Botanicals is growing succulents, cacti, air plants, and house plants and sharing them with people all over the country!

COVID-19 UPDATE:

    • Our fulfillment centers and carriers are open and operational at this time. You may experience temporary delays in the order processing & shipping times as a result of the additional safety measures we are employing to help protect our teams. 
    • Our carriers are maintaining normal delivery operations except where limited by government restrictions.
    • Please refer to the estimated delivery window during checkout for your order. Should anything change, we will email you and keep you in the loop as soon as we receive that information.
    • As a small team (it's 10 of us!), we sincerely appreciate your support, flexibility, and understanding during this time.

 ORDER PROCESS:

    • After checkout, you will receive an Order Confirmation email. We are a small business & we process orders M-F from 9am-5pm PST. We do not ship on Saturdays, Sundays, and/or nationally observed US holidays. 
    • Orders may take up to 4-5 business days to process.
    • Once shipped, you will receive a Shipment Confirmation email with a tracking number. Orders may be split across multiple shipments, and items ordered together may not be shipped on the same day.
    • We do ship within the U.S., however, we are unable to ship to PO boxes, U.S. territories, and APO/FPO/DPO addresses.
    • Unfortunately, we cannot offer express and/or overnight shipping.

 SHIPMENT ETAS:

    • Transit time can take up to 7-10 business days from the ship date, depending on your location.
    • However, you may experience temporary delays as a result of our additional COVID-19 safety measures. Our carriers are maintaining normal delivery operations except where limited by government restrictions.

    • *Please allow up to 2-3 weeks for art print deliveries; each art print is made to order.

    • If an item is available for preorder, an ‘Expected to Ship’ date may be shown on the product page. 

BACKORDERS:

    • Occasionally, items will go on backorder before your order is fulfilled — if this happens, we will alert you via email.
    • In the event that your order includes a backordered item, we reserve the right to cancel and refund the item or to ship your order in multiple packages.

    TRACKING INFORMATION:

        • When can I expect to receive my shipment?
          • **Please allow a minimum of 2-3 weeks for art print deliveries; each art print is made to order.

      • Carriers:
        • All international orders are shipped via UPS to your destination country's postal service.
        • Carriers are selected based on the most efficient delivery.
      • Cost:
        • Shipping cost is generally determined by dimensional weight.
        • Shipping rates are lowest available; we are unable to offer any lower rates than what is listed at checkout.
        • Shipping rates include insurance unless otherwise specified.
      • Customs, Duties, and Taxes:
        • International shipments require additional duties and taxes to be paid by the customer at the time of delivery which is not covered in our shipping rates.
        • Jungalow cannot be held responsible for packages held in customs or for any customs duties or brokerage fees owed. If you decide to refuse a shipment, Jungalow will not grant refunds of any kind.
        • We have many different vendors and packages that are part of the same order may be sent separately.


      RETURNS

      RETURNS:

        • A few important things to note for returns: 
          • Shipping costs are non-refundable and return shipping fees are the responsibility of the customer.
          • All returns must be notified to us within 14 days of shipment delivery date.
          • If a return request is accepted and a refund is authorized, store credit will be issued.
          • Items must be returned in their original condition (unused, unworn, unwashed, unaltered, etc.) with the original packaging intact and any tags attached.
          • Some items in our shop are final sale. Please see the breakdown below for quick reference.

        • Return request process:
          • Please send us an email at support@jungalow.com and include your order number, which item(s) you are requesting to return, and reason(s) for return.
          • If your return request is accepted, we will provide you with a return address. 
          • You are responsible for packing the returnable items securely and using a shipping service with tracking as Jungalow® is not responsible for any items lost or damaged in transit. You must provide us with your tracking number in order for us to accept the delivery & complete the return.
          • If a return request is accepted and a refund is authorized, store credit will be issued.
          • Damages:
            • Please report any/all damages with your package/order within 48 hours of the delivery date.
            • If you see major damage to your package or any other issues with delivery, please take a picture of your package before opening it and send it to support@jungalow.com. In the email, please include your order number and pictures of the damaged product and the package in which your order arrived. This will help us make sure our shipping methods are the best we can provide.
