Justina Blakeneytm X Loloi

There’s a lot of fun stuff happening at The Jungalow these days–a lot of colorful, patternful stuff…and today I’m (very!) excited to share a peek of my new collection of rugs and pillows that I’ve been working on with Loloi! From gathering up inspiration images to hauling my vintage textile collections to the Loloi headquarters in Dallas and then drawing out dozens of pillow and rug designs to work through with Loloi’s creative team, seeing my product come to life is one of the most exhilarating aspects of my career so far.

Of all of the different types of design I’ve dabbled in over the years, from graphic design, to interior design, it turns out textile and product design is kind of my jammy jam. It allows me to combine my love of home decor with my love for graphic design. When the first samples came back from the factories, seeing something go from my head, to paper and then boom into a tangible, real thing that people can enjoy in their homes–well, it’s very fun and gratifying.

We will be debuting the entire collection (which consists of 12 rug designs and 17!! pillows) this weekend at Highpoint Market in North Carolina which is the largest home furnishings show in the world. If you’re gonna be at the show we’d love to see you. We’re also doing a book signing on Sunday at the Loloi showroom (Signing is 10/18, 3:30-5 and location is IHFC D320) .  We will be taking wholesale orders at the show for the collection which means that the collections will be available to the public early spring.

You can see what’s happening here, yes? Wallpaper, rugs, pillows…soon you’re whole home will be very, very jungalicious!! Holla.
