Five Plantastic Ideas to add green to your home

1. Use a simple split-leaf philodendron leaf in a vase in place of flowers on the bedside table.


2. Paint the rims of a terracotta pot for a fresh take on planters this spring.


3. Use egg cups as succulent planters.


4. Create a vertical garden easily by covering floating shelves with wooden pieces that have holes cut out for potted plants.

  1. I really like all these suggestions, I love succulents but like any green thing in my house my cat always finds it. She however will not touch cat grass at all!

    Plants are wonderful indoors & out. I’m sitting in my shed/office right now with the sun shining, hummingbirds zipping by & surrounded by greenery. How can a girl not smile with all that goodness around her?! The succulent in the egg cup is cute as can be.
