11/13/13A sweet and simple idea for your tabletop

Prep for my new Tabletop Styling class is happening in full force over here at the jungalow (every flat surface in the entire house teaming with linens, plates, flatware and glasses–sorry Jason!). I worked on this idea today for the ‘Springtime tabletop’ episode and it was a little too cute not to share here, too.  I used vintage flower broaches pin the napkins into ‘cones’ that I then used as pockets for the flatware. So simple, yet so friggen cute, yes?

If you’re looking for vintage flower brooches to borrow this idea, I’ve added a few really pretty ones to my Tablescape collection on eBay.  I’m having so much fun putting together these lessons–if you’d like to join in on the fun, sign up for the class with the code GIVETHNX this week and you’ll get $5 off the $19 sign-up fee
