When Ida was born we went from a queen sized bed to a king–and thank goodness we did because co-sleeping on a queen all these months would have been miserable. It was hard to get rid of all of our queen-sized bedding though–over the years our linens had grown so cozier and cozier with every wash. When I saw this duvet cover on west elm I knew I had found my new favorite. Verstaile and cozy, this duvet inspired me to redo my whole bed area. I’ve added even more birds to the mix with the vintage brass birds I found on Etsy and calmed down all the colors. As we work on getting Ida to sleep in her crib now, it’s nice to have a clean new bed that feels all grown up.
