Jungalow Recipe

Lately, quite a few people have emailed me to ask how to inject a bit of Jungalow flavor into their homes. It’s pretty simple, really–so I’ve created a little recipe for you! Now it’s up to you to thrift the additional pieces, keep the plants alive and add your own personal touches–but here’s a little recipe to getchya started:

1. Kilim Pillow | Kilim Pillow 2 | Kilim Pillow 3
2. Shield Mirror
3. Crocheted shawl
4. Fish Hook Succulents
5. fiddle leaf fig tree
6. Rattan Chair
7. Kilim rug runner

Cover your sofa in vintage kilim pillows. Cover your floors in vintage kilim carpets. Remove existing curtains and drape crocheted shawls over your windows. Add a dash of vintage mirrors.  Mix in some rattan pieces, like a chair or a side table. Add plants to taste.  Let cool. Oh wait–it’s already cool :)

Happy Friday friends!

The idea of the first kilim cushion being friends with the rattan chair in a sunny spot brought a huge smile to my face – this recipe is indeed delicious!

Thank you! I’ve been meaning to ask if you have pointers for those of us who want to make our homes more ‘us’ but have no idea how to get started. This is super helpful and makes the process seem more do-able!
